![]() ![]() What really makes me love a novel is the growth to people share by interacting. My main complaint is the insta-love fad that seems to have taken hold in romance literature. ![]() While I found them to be a bit of a generalization of teenage boys and girls, I do have to admit they are pretty accurate representations of some of that age group. It is very masterfully done, and the supporting characters are written very nicely as well. The most interesting thing I have to say about this novel is how the two main characters interactions affect their mindsets and personalities. Then there's Gwen, the good-girl trying to come out of her shell, not only for the boy, but also for other reasons I won't revel because of minor spoilers. You've got Grayson, the bad-boy trying to go good for cute girl. ![]() The Promise of Amazing is your typical, Young-Adult romance novel, and I don't mean that in a negative way. ![]() But sometimes you just need a cute romance story in your life. Normally I tend to stay in the Fantasy or Science-Fiction genre and only venture out when something gets enough hype to draw my attention, such as John Green's works. The Promise of Amazing pulled me in with the super cute cover. ![]()
